CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Chattanooga women's soccer outshot the Golden Eagles in the second half, battling to a 1-1 draw against Tennessee Tech Thursday evening at Finley Stadium. The Mocs move to 1-4-2 overall and TTU is 0-4-3 on the year.

Caroline Richvalsky connected on her third goal of the year in the 29
th minute to tie the match.
Zoey Mize carried the ball downfield and into the box where she encountered a defensive front. She fed the ball back to Richvalsky who was rushing into the box. She fired the shot off her left foot into the top left corner of the box to tie the match.

The Mocs outshot the Golden Eagles 19-11 with 11 in the second half. UTC also had a 5-0 corner kick advantage in the match. Richvalsky,
Kelly Tuerff and
Taylor Morris led Chattanooga with three shots apiece while four more had two shots each.
Caroline Ekern tallied four saves.

Tennessee Tech scored in the 11
th minute following a missed penalty kick. Katie Toney lined up for the shot but hit it off the post. However, she was able to pick up the ball that bounced right back to her and put it away for the first goal.

Neve Renwick had a game-high six shots for the Golden Eagles and Toney had four. Maggie Conrad made seven saves for TTU.

Chattanooga will take an extended break, returning to action Sunday, September 15 at Belmont in the final non-conference match of the season.
