Opening Statement
"I think there's a few key possessions I think of in that fourth quarter where we're getting a wide open three, and we miss it, and then they come in transition and hit a contested one right in our face. The biggest thing for us is we talked a lot about the other loss that we had in conference when we weren't hitting shots. We kind of stopped playing defense. To see our defensive effort, even though we weren't necessarily hitting shots, and to make sure that that didn't waiver, I was proud of the growth in that. I think that this is a game that we're going to reference later on and really look back on as an important game for us in this season, specifically on our hunt for a conference championship. And I feel like obviously it wasn't the result that we wanted, but if we can lock in and we can learn from our mistakes and understand that coming into this game, we're seeing Wofford blowing out teams left, right and center, and for me, it just verifies what we are, what we thought we are. We're going to be a top team in this conference. So now, let's keep the fire that's in our stomachs and however mad I am right now about the loss, I'm channeling that into these next couple games because we have everything we need."

On the team effort to the end of the game
"I think from my standpoint, I have a group that I know what we have when we got girls with a lot of heart and a lot of talent. Finding ways to win them a game and a game like this, that's my job. We've got to look at ways that we could get better looks, ways that we can find our players who are hot in that moment and make sure that we're executing down the stretch to win it. I do feel like from shooting 15 percent from three and shooting a lot of threes and still putting up 54 points, I'm definitely proud of that. I'm proud of our nine second chance points, 26 points in the paint, all that good stuff. But just really gut wrenching for our team to fight the way that we did. And no, honestly, at the end of the game I thought our situational basketball was fantastic. We've run a lot of new sets that we practiced and we executed it down the stretch. We had an opportunity to win it and win it and win it and just kind of needed to get that three-point shot to go. So just proud of them. We as a staff, we're going to be able to pick them up after this one because we've got an even more important one on Saturday. And that's what a mature team will do is they'll be able to recover from this and understand the importance of Saturday's game. As a staff, we've got to help them with that."
