On the Mocs strong start to the game and the finish
"One of the things that we were looking at was to take care of the basketball. We knew that their best offense was getting out in transition off of a turnover and scoring in transition. And I think the second quarter, they really started to amp up their pressure a little bit. And then we got gassed. You know, it's only two games in and we're sitting here trying to go against a full court press the entire game. And, you know, I think I think there's a little bit of figuring out how to play in this atmosphere. They're doing their banner night for their men and it's a doubleheader and the student section has been, has been loud. And so as soon as we had two turnovers that led to runouts for them, then we kind of lost our heads a little bit. We've got to work on our poise. I think that, you know, then they started getting on the offensive glass and all that stuff is our mistakes. Now, third and fourth quarter, Liv McGill show, you know, she's a phenomenal player. She's hitting step back threes, but we can't let her be comfortable in that. And I think that we made too many mistakes defensively that open up the court a little bit for them. And we've got to be a little bit more disciplined, whether we're scoring or not our defense still has to be stout."

On Florida's Liv McGill
"Yeah, I think we lacked awareness, to be honest. I mean, 40 points right there, if we hold her to 20, we have a chance to win the game, you know? And so I just think it's an awareness of understanding that she's their go-to, you know, and she's going to be out and she's going to be their go-to player and we've got to defend us five in that scenario. I think that she was able to get some warm-up shots off of our steals, you know, get some layups, feel good about it. And then all of a sudden you see her start hitting step back threes."

On Gianna Corbitt
"Yeah, and I think, you know, one thing that I was disappointed as our whole group is that we didn't hit free throws very well. Right. You know? And I think when you're facing a team like this, that they're going to be all the way up and pressuring and 24 feet, you know, from anything, we've got to make sure that we're then knocking down our free throws. I think Gianna, you know, obviously she's been through it. She's been through the fire a little bit last year she used to say, I'm just a freshman. Now she can't say that anymore. But I think that she's seen it a little bit and she's a little bit more composed. I also thought she shot the ball well, which that's something that we're going to need. You know, both her and Sarah hit some big 3's in that quarter to help us out in that first. But it's really about, you know, when a team starts to make a run, we've got to have a response because I felt like we came out the better prepared team to start the quarter and then we didn't respond well in the second quarter."
