Additionally, it gives the Chattanooga Basketball programs the sweep of this week's SoCon awards, following yesterday's announcement that Men's Basketball Player Jordan Frison was named Player of the Week.Â
In Chattanooga's lone game of the week, a home 59-58 win against Western Kentucky, Corbitt posted her second consecutive double-double. She delivered a game-high 23 points while also collecting 10 rebounds as the Mocs rallied from a 13-point deficit to earn the win.Â
Corbitt was 50% (9-18) from the field and 40% (4-10) shooting 3-pointers. Some of her other stats from the win include one assist, one block, and one steal.Â
In Chattanooga's three-game winning streak, Corbitt has been on an offensive tear. She scored 30 points, 21 points, and 23 points in those three wins. She is shooting the ball at a 67.5% (27-40) rate during this run, while also being lethal from three, shooting it at 61.9% (13-21).
