Opening statement.
"I feel like one of the things that we are teaching this group as far as resilience is understanding the ebbs and flows of a season and I think this is a tough loss for us and a lot of it is because we lost it the same way we lost the first one at Greensboro when they out-scored us in the first quarter by 10 and then we win the rest of the game."

On holding UNCG to 58 points.
"I know we have the best defense in the SoCon, I know our players work hard, I know our staff works hard on scout and I know our players take a lot of pride in that and we know we want to be gritty and we wanna get it done that way. I think that when everything else is going crazy in a game, our defense is really the one to push us forward."

On the team's effort to not give up after a slow start offensively.
"I'm really proud of how we battled back in the second half even though we weren't necessarily hitting shots and we were able to hold them to single digits. They are a very talented scoring team. I thought the third and the fourth they shot a lot of free throws and we've got to learn how to defend without fouling. We've also got to be able to rebound the basketball. I think that even though we out-rebounded them the ten offensive rebounds they got, it felt like they were scoring on it every single time. 15 points off second chance. You lose a game by eight, that's the game right there."
