CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Chattanooga distance runner Lesley Green Boyd was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team the organization announced Tuesday.
 
Boyd carried a 4.0 grade point average studying for her Master's in Business Administration. She was a member of the Mocs Dean's List and Athletics Director's Honor Roll, a member of the Southern Conference Honor Roll and All-Academic Teams.
 
She is a repeat member of the CSC Academic All-District Team and a candidate for Academic All-America.
 
Boyd earned All-Conference honors in cross country as well as outdoor track and field. She was the 5000 meter champion in the Southern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the spring and was named to the all-conference first team in cross country.
 
At the NCAA South Region Cross  Country championships, Boyd placed 10^th overall earning All-Region honors and advanced to the NCAA National Championships. In outdoor track, Boyd earned a bid to the NCAA East Region Championships in the 10,000 meter run.
