Opening Statement
"In this stretch of the season, it's all about are we getting better? Are we making sure every single game we're learning something? I talked to our team after our game on Friday that our defense wasn't good enough, and they were able to come out and respond in a way that was very impressive. Samford is probably, if not the best, one of the best offensive teams in our conference. They're very well coached, but for our defense to respond in that way, it was a waiting game of as soon as the shots start falling, we could build that lead out."
 
On contributions coming from more players:
"For us, it's a matter of knowing that on any given night, anybody can contribute. Izzy's (McPherson) a great example of that tonight. Lights out from her and fantastic job."

On the effort from the bench:
"I think it's the confidence that's instilled in us with what we are continuously working on every day. I think every player in our practices right now is literally working really hard. We are going at each other, trying to make everyone the best version of themselves possible. To see (teammates) check in and the confidence that was evident in some of our girls that don't play as much, it was really, really special. I think it's a testament to what we're building here, and what our coaches are building in us. Not only on the court, but off the court too."
