Women’s Tennis Set for Two Matches in Richmond, Kentucky

The Chattanooga Mocs women’s tennis team will face Eastern Michigan in a neutral tilt on Friday before battling EKU in a true road match on Saturday.

CHATTANOOGA (February 5, 2026) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team heads north to Richmond, Ky., for a pair of matches this weekend against Eastern Michigan and Eastern Kentucky on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
 
The Mocs neutral match against Eastern Michigan is set for a 4 p.m. (ET) start on Friday while Saturday's finale against EKU is set for 1 p.m. (ET). Live stats will be available for Saturday's match only.
 
"The team is excited to play against quality teams this weekend. Both programs are well coached and feature a lot of depth," said head coach Chad Camper.
 
"We learned a lot of lessons last weekend and look forward to putting things together on the court this weekend."

About Chattanooga
Chattanooga (2-1) looks to bounce back from its first defeat of the season after falling 6-1 at ACC-member Georgia Tech on Sunday in Atlanta. The Mocs have already posted wins over Lee University (W, 7-0) and Georgia State (W, 6-1) this season. The matchup with EMU is the first meeting of the two schools in program history while the Mocs face EKU for the fourth-straight season (W3).  
 
About Eastern Michigan
Eastern Michigan (6-1) started the spring season with six-straight wins to start 6-0 before falling last Sunday on the road at Big Ten-member Michigan State (L, 0-4) in East Lansing, Michigan. EMU has wins over Cleveland State, Ferris State (2), Youngstown State, St. Francis (PA) and Oakland.
 
About Eastern Kentucky
Eastern Kentucky (1-5) enters the match looking to avenge back-to-back road losses to Indiana (L, 0-4) and Louisville (L, 0-7) last weekend. The Colonels have played an extremely difficult non-conference schedule so far that have seen the likes of ETSU, Marshall, Kentucky, and Dayton (W, 5-2), in addition to IU and U of L.
