Mocs Add Mize to Lead Sports Medicine

Chattanooga Mocs alum Keith Mize returns to the Scenic City to lead the sports medicine efforts for the athletics department.

Overview
The Chattanooga Mocs are adding one of their own as director of sports medicine. Keith Mize, an alumnus of the Athletic Training graduate program, joins the Mocs from Kennesaw State where he rose to head football athletic trainer.
 
Breakdown
  • Joins the Chattanooga athletics department after eight years at Kennesaw State.
  • Was the Owls head football athletic trainer for six seasons (2021-26).
  • Began his stint in Kennesaw as an intern (2018-19) before being elevated to assistant athletic trainer (2019-21).
  • First post-graduate role was as an intern at Wofford for the 2017-18 academic year.
