CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs athletics department announces another record-setting year of philanthropic fundraising. Records were set in the amount of all-in cash raised as well as annual fund donations. All-in-all, the Mocs Club advancement team raised nearly $7 million total dollars.
Â
"Chattanooga is a special place," said Vice Chancellor for Athletics
Mark Wharton. "The generous spirit of our community as whole provides our department with a fantastic standard of support. Our alumni, donors and fans continue to drive our efforts forward in providing top-level experiences in and out of competition for our student-athletes."
Â
Fueled by the generosity of 1,902 total donors, significant milestones were achieved.
Â
- The record $4,597,285.94 all-cash raised was an 11.4 percent increase over a year ago, which previously was the second-largest year on record.
- The annual fund saw an 11 percent increase to a record $1.388 million. That completes the goal for year three of the 2023 Mocs Take Flight initiative to achieve $1.5 million in annual support.
- The Dare & Do Campaign is well on its way to reaching its $5 million goal to help power NIL opportunities across all sports. They currently have $3.8 million in signed commitments.
Â
The revenue generation did not stop there. The ticket office produced the second-highest ticket revenue in a fiscal year. The unit boasted more than $1 million in 2025-26 through football, men's and women's basketball, wrestling and softball sales.
Â
"There are always a lot of people to thank both inside and outside a successful organization like the Mocs Club," Wharton added. "We are thankful for the leadership of Anthony (Miele) and Scarlett (Parker) in guiding our efforts in advancement of our goals as a department."

"The Mocs Club team is deeply grateful to every supporter who chose to invest in UTC Athletics and our 300 student-athletes," Wharton concluded.
