The Chattanooga Mocs wrestling team is coming off earning a share of the Southern Conference Dual Championship in 2025-26. The group looks to take a step forward in 2026-27 with an aggressive slate of events. Coach Kyle Ruschell and his staff are challenging a strong group of returnees and a targeted group of impact transfers to tackle the opportunities ahead.

"I'm trying to get a couple things accomplished. We're trying to see ranked opponents while giving ourselves the opportunity to get as many matches in as possible; I think our schedule this year does that by hitting four or five tournaments, but also you're seeing teams like Little Rock, Princeton, Purdue, North Dakota State...we're going to see a lot of ranked guys at a lot of different weights. That's going to benefit our guys. We're going to get those matches in, but we can also see a lot of those guys at tournaments as well." – Coach Kyle Ruschell

The first opportunity to see the Mocs in action is in the annual Blue-Gold Matches. This year's event is Oct. 17 in the wrestling room at Maclellan Gym at 6:30 p.m.

Season tickets are on sale now on GoMocs.com here. The season plan includes every match in Maclellan Gym as well as all-session passes for the Southern Scuffle. The ticket office will also contact individuals who purchased season tickets in 2025-26.
