Women’s Golf Finishes 4th in Ohio

Claire Roberts led the Chattanooga Mocs over the final 18 holes of the Rocket Class at Highland Meadows.
The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team finished fourth at the Rocket Classic in Sylvania, Ohio. The Mocs completed their 54-hole trek around Highland Meadows Golf Club with a total of 931. The squad shot 323 to close out the event finishing behind winner Central Michigan (903), Oakland (910) and Akron (920), while finishing two better than host Toledo in fifth.

- Freshman Claire Roberts led way with 77. Bella Bugg's 80 was next on the ledger, while Elizabeth Jang, Maggie Carlson and Rugile Pauliukonyte had matching 83s.
- Jang was low for the tournament leading the Mocs with 232. She tied for 17th in her collegiate debut.
- Roberts was one stroke behind Jang in 20th giving the Mocs two top 20 debuts.
