Biography
2007-08: Indoor - Named to the Southern Conference Academic All-Conference Team... ran the 3k for the Mocs... best finish was 10th at the ETSU Invitational... set personal best in the 3,000 meter, 8:45.80. Outdoor - Ran the 1,600 meter leg on the distance medley team that finished fifth at the Florida State Invitational.
2006-07: Cross Country - Placed 36th at SoCon Championships... finished 102 at NCAA South Regional. Indoor - Competed in 3,000 meters.
2005-06: Cross Country - Finished 29th at SoCon Championships as true freshman... finished 91st at NCAA South Regional. Indoor - Garnered first place finish at MTSU in 3,000 meters (8:48.52)... had two 11th place finishes at SoCon Championships in 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters. Outdoor - Finished ninth at SoCon Championships in 10,000 meters.
Siegel High: Holds school record in the 3,200 meters ... part of record holding relay teams in both the 4x400 meters and 4x800 meters... Most Outstanding Runner senior year... named to the All-Midstate cross country team senior year... graduated 17th in his class with a 3.91 GPA... twice honored as the recipient of the Unsung Hero Award... finished ninth at the Disney Wide World of Sports... earned three letters in both track and cross country.
Personal: Mechanical Engineering major... son of Daniel and Nancy Huwe... family includes one sister, Katie (26) and two brothers, Brian (23) and Michael (28).
