2018-19 • SENIOR SEASON:  Did not compete ... made the Dean's List & the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters with a 4.0 GPA in the spring ... made the SoCon Honor Roll and earned the SoCon Commissioner's Medal.    

2017-18 • JUNIOR SEASON:  Did not compete ... made the Dean's List & the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters with a 4.0 GPA in the spring ... made the SoCon Honor Roll and earned the SoCon Commissioner's Medal.    

2016-17 • REDSHIRT SEASON:  Sat out the season as a redshirt ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters ... 4.0 GPA in the fall ... made the SoCon Honor Roll and earned the SoCon Commissioner's Medal.

2015-16 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:  Went 3-6 overall at 149 ... won a dual match against Southeastern ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll both semesters ... made the SoCon Honor Roll.  

2014-15 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Finished with a 12-9 overall record, including wins over Gardner-Webb and Bucknell in dual action at 141 ... sixth place in the Fr./So. bracket at the Hokie Open ... tied for first at the Cumberland Open ... made the Dean's List in the fall and the A.D. Honor Roll in the spring ... made the SoCon Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO UTC:  2013 state champion at 132 pounds for Walton High School in Marietta, Ga. … competed for head coach Pete Murphy … three-time state placer for the Radiers … also played football for Walton who advanced to the state finals his sophomore year.

PERSONAL:  Born Jan. 16, 1996 … son of Pete and Lynne Murphy … has a younger brother, Connor … Health & Human Performance major.
