chattanooga MOCS

- Transfer from Bethel University in west Tennessee
- Has been a part of running back, tight ends, defensive line and outside linebacker rooms at Chattanooga
- December 2021 graduate with a degree in Exercise Science
 
2021 (Junior II)
- Recorded 14 tackles in a reserve role.
- 1.5 TFLs including one at Kentucky in his lone tackle of the game.
- Career-high six stops in the finale against The Citadel…five were solo tackles.
- D-Line led the way to a dominating defensive effort for the squad leading the SoCon in every major statistical category: Total (275.8), Scoring (17.1), Rushing (122.3) & Passing (153.5)…the unit was top 20 nationally in Passing (2nd), First Downs Allowed (3rd), Total (9th), Third-Down Conversions (10th), Scoring (11th), Interceptions (14th), Pass Efficiency (15th), Rushing (16th), Sacks (16th) and TFLs (18th).

- Played in four games off the bench...posted three tackles against Mercer.

Prior to Chattanooga
- Played in three games as a freshman at Bethel (McKenzie, Tenn.)...12 carries for 47 yards...one catch for six yards.
- 2017 graduate of Mt. Juliet Christian Academy...played for head coach Dan Davis.
- 2-star prep prospect...all-county and all-district honoree...ran for over 2,500 yards and 33 touchdowns in his career at MJCA.
- Also played baseball and ran track...honor roll student.

- Full name is Austin Jay Collier...born Feb. 3, 1999.
- Son of Ronnie Collier and Nina Duke...has four brothers and three sisters.
- Earned degree in Exercise Science.
