2006-07: Finished 60th in 8K race at Southern Conference Championships... posted 30th place finish at Front Runner Invitational... competed at highly competitive Greater Louisvile Classic, placing 203rd of 325 runners in 8K race. Indoor - Finished 31st in 3K at Kentucky’s Rod McCravey Meet... competed in 3K event at SoCon Championships. Outdoor - Finished 16th in 1,500 meters at Georgia Relays.
Soddy-Daisy HS: Four year letterman in both cross country and track... three-year member of wrestling team... was two-time Chattanooga Times "Best of Preps" selection for cross country.
Personal: Born on August 16... Civil Engineering major... son of Gil and Jeannie Highlander... family includes one sister, Sarah (15).
