Last Saturday night's home opener with Cumberland was a big success on and off the field. The Mocs won 47-6, but more importantly, the ticket promotion in conjunction with the Chattanooga Food Bank raised nearly 1,500 pounds of food for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. 527 GA tickets were distributed to fans who attended the game with donations in-hand. The Mocs are proud to be Chattanooga's team.
On a side note, since the launch of the new Mocs Maniacs Student Rewards Program on September 2nd, 478 students have signed up online at GoMocs.com and 118 students signed up at the first home football game for a total of 596 members. This is 322 more members than the previous year, a 115% increase.
