  • Led a running back room that had the SoCon’s number two and 11 rushers in 2022
  • Mocs RB Ailym Ford ran for a career-best 1,199 yards becoming the first rusher in school history with three 1,000-yard seasons
  • Ford also had a career-high 12 rushing touchdowns and 14 overall
  • Keydets RB Alex Ramsey’s 1,326 rushing yards led the Southern Conference in 2019 ranking sixth nationally
  • Ramsey registered a school-record 22 rushing TDs which led the nation
  • Ramsey’s yardage was fourth-most in program history and 1,649 all-purpose yards were the sixth-most in program history
  • Also coached return specialists at VMI with running back Korey Bridy leading the SoCon in KO returns (27.7)
  • Three bowl appearances during his career at Western Kentucky, two as a coach

  • Ran for 102 yards and a touchdown at WKU while also serving as a special teams ace
  • Career highs of 10 carries and 65 yards against Indiana State in 2013
  • Earned scholarship for his final two collegiate years after sitting out as a transfer in 2012
  • 10-time scout team player of the week at IU including six during transfer season (2012)
