2012 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Played in all 11 games, mostly on special teams ... made four tackles ... had one catch for seven yards against Glenville State. 

2011 • REDSHIRT SEASON:  Sat out the season as a redshirt...made the Dean's List in the fall ... made the SoCon Honor Roll for having a 3.0+ g.p.a. for the year.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Two-time all-state player at Chattanooga's McCallie School ... played for head coach Rick Whitt ... led the team in tackles as a defensive lineman/linebacker in each of the last three years ... had 86 tackles as a senior ... TSWA Division 2-AA All-State as a senior ... also played baseball ... selected to play in the Toyota East vs. West Tennessee All-Star game ... member of the Chattanooga Times Free Press Dynamite Dozen.

PERSONAL:  Full name is Jarrod Ross Coleman ... son of Bryon and Anita Coleman ... born March 23, 1992 ... father played at UTC from 1977-80 and was a teammate of head coach Russ Huesman ... has an older brother, B.J., who was a quarterback for the Mocs (2009-11) ... majoring in Marketing.
