2006:  Played in nine games with four starts ... 86-172 passing for eight TDs and eight INTs ... 15-27 for 177 yards and two scores against Georgia Southern ... 10-18 for 162 yards and a score at Furman.  

2005:  Received the team’s Marco Sheppard Mr. Hustle Award, given to the player who displays the best hustle, leadership skills and the desire to be the best … Saw action in seven games in a backup role at quarterback … Completed 30-of-68 pass attempts for 44.1 percent … Threw for 381 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions … Went 1-for-2 for 25 yards in win over Tennessee Tech … Good on 2-of-6 passes for 33 yards at Memphis … Completed 4-of-9 passes for 46 yards at Georgia Southern … Threw a career-best two touchdown passes against Western Carolina … Scoring passes were for 15 yards to tight end Brian Arnold and for 27 yards to wideout Michael Gilmore … Was 11-for-28 passing for 98 yards … Went 12-for-22 for 179 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions against Furman … Touchdown pass was a career-long 63-yarder to tailback Eldra Buckley … Listed as the backup quarterback coming out of spring practice ... Completed 1-of-4 pass attempts in spring scrimmage.

2004:  Did not compete or practice because of an injury ... Spent the year serving as a student assistant coach with the Mocs’ offense.

2003:  Started the first four games as a redshirt freshman ... Threw for 477 yards and completed 53.3 percent of his passes, connecting on 49-of-92 attempts ... Had five interceptions and no touchdown passes ... Suffered season-ending injury to his leg and shoulder at Gardner-Webb Sept. 20 ... Completed 15-of-24 passes for 205 yards in debut against Samford ... Went 12-for-25 for 65 yards at Vanderbilt ... Set season highs with 21 completions in 42 attempts for 204 yards at Tennessee Tech ... Had completed a three-yard pass at Gardner-Webb before suffering an injury on a rush of minus two yards ... Made Dean’s List Spring semester.

2002:  Redshirted ... Worked with the quarterbacks.

CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL:  Threw for 2,600 yards and 22 touchdowns as a quarterback in his last two seasons ... Also ran for three scores in that span ... A three-year starter ... Coached at Clinton by Kevin Catlett ... Ranked 25th in his graduating class with a 3.89 GPA ... Also considered East Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech.
