Prior to Chattanooga 
- Originally signed with SoCon-rival Samford...did not see action.
- Prepped at nearby Cleveland High School after transferring from Tyner Academy...played on both the offensive and defensive lines...3-year starter.
- State Champion at Tyner as a sophomore...had 58 tackles with 11.0 TFL and 6.0 sacks starting at defensive tackle.
- Made playoff appearances in both junior and senior seasons with the Blue Raiders...also started on offensive line as a junior while serving as team defensive captain.
- All-Region as a senior and earned a spot in the East & West All-Star team...got team defensive MVP award...played the most snaps on the team that season.
- 210 solo tackles in his high school career that started at Chattanooga Christian as a freshman...40.0 TFLs and 16.0 sacks.

Personal
- Born 2007...son of Nathan, Sr., and Stephanie Carter...has an older sister, Nateayunna, and a younger sister, Natelya.
- National Honor Society in high school...member of the Beta Club and Debate Club.
- Revamped the school's mascot bringing it back to life as part of a meaningful legacy project.
- Majoring in Political Science with a Pre-Law minor.
