Prior to Chattanooga
- Spent four years at Lenoir-Rhyne playing three...made 37 appearance with 28 catches for 395 yards and five touchdowns.
- Collected 16 passes in 2025 averaging 16.9 yards per catch with three TDs.
- 2025 South Atlantic Conference Student-Athlete of the Year finalist...CSC Academic All-District with multiple academic honors including Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Societies.
- Was recruited to LRU by former Mercer head coach Mike Jacobs in 2022 and played for him in 2023 going 13-2 as a redshirt freshman and advancing to the DII Playoff semifinals.
- Prepped at nearby Cleveland High School playing for Scott Cummings and Marty Wheeler...played on both sides of the ball and was a 2-way starter as a junior and senior.
- 189 tackles with 112 solo stops defensively...27 TFLs with eight sacks, six forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, two pass breakups and an interception...registered 22 TFLs as a senior at linebacker.
- 46 career catches for 711 yards and three TDs.
- All-State linebacker as a senior...multiple all-region and all-county selections...Times Free Press Best of Preps as a senior.
- Region 2-6A Iron Man Award as best 2-way skill player.
- Also played basketball...helped the Blue Raiders to two state tournament appearances (2020, 2021).

- Son of Robbie and Autumn O'Bryan...has one younger sister, Lily.
- Father, Robbie, played basketball at Morehead State and Milligan...mom, Autumn, played softball at Lee...sister Lily is also in the SoCon playing softball at Furman.
- AP Scholar with Honors in high school...Cleveland Graduate of Distinction with 4.0 GPA...Good Citizens Award from Daughters of the American Revolution.
- Plans on getting his Master's in Secondary Education.
