- Finished as the team's top player... went 15-4 overall including 11-3 in dual matches in singles play... went 9-2 in the No. 2 singles slot.
- Finished the season winning nine of his final 10 matches... combined to win eight matches between two different partners in doubles... went 3-1 in tournament play with partner Augusto Gonzalez.
Washingtonville High School (NY)
- Four-star prospect according to Tennis Recruiting Network.
- Ranked 12 in the state of New York... 33rd in Middle Atlantic region.
- Carried a UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) of 11.
- Completed scholastic play 16th in USTA Sectionals and 153rd in USTA Nationals.
Personal
- Son of Roberto Castillo and Paola Sanchez... both played collegiate tennis at Freed-Hardemann University.
- Brother Sebastian was a 2019-20 All-American and ITA Regional Champion at RPI... finished the fall and spring as the third-ranked player in the Northeast and top 10 in the country
