- Finished her career as the program’s all-time recordholder for career games played (152) as well as career starts (149).
- Her 152 career games played tie her for the most games played by ANY Chattanooga basketball player, male or female, in school history.
- She also wraps up her time at UTC ranked fifth in career steals (205), eighth in three-point attempts (456), tenth in assists (339), and tenth in made three-pointers (148).

- Led the SoCon in assist-turnover ratio (1.96).
- Finished first on the team in steals, and second in rebounding and assists.
- Ranked second in the SoCon in steals and sixth in assists.
- Was a double-digit scorer a total of 11 times over the course of her final season.
- Matched her career-high of 16 points against Western Carolina, finishing 7-for-10 from the floor including going 2-for-3 from behind the arc.
- Recorded 5+ steals in a total of three games this season.
- Snatched away six steals against ETSU on February 22, tying her career-high for the stat.
- Also put together five-steal performances against Troy (11/14) and Furman (02/01).
- Led the team in steals a total of 21 times on the year.
- Also recorded 5+ assists in a total of five games.
- Once again tied her career-high in a stat by tallying eight assists at NC Central.
- That game against NC Central almost saw Olafsdottir finish with a triple-double, as she finished the game with 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
- Had a pair of nine-rebound games in back-to-back contests, tying her career-high: first against Troy (11/14) and again at Mississippi State (11/17).
- Recorded 4+ rebounds in a total of 25 games.
- Tied her career-high for made three-pointers in a game against Troy, finishing 4-for-7 from three-point range.
- Played 40+ minutes in a total of 21 games this season.
- This includes playing all 45 minutes of UTC’s overtime clash against Furman, as well as 44 out of 45 minutes of the SoCon Tournament title game versus UNCG.

- Logged 36 steals for UTC, alongside 29 assists and three blocks.
- Shot the ball at a 70-for-191 (36.6 percent) clip on the season including going 40-for-124 (32.3 percent) from three.
- Finished 81.8 percent (9-for-11) from the charity stripe.
- Ended up finishing second in the Southern Conference’s DPOY voting.
- Tied her career-high for scoring against ETSU, dropping 16 points in the win (01/20).
- Ripped away a season-high four steals against Mercer (01/10).
- Has two games where she made a career-high four three-pointers, first against ETSU (01/20) and second at Wofford (03/02).
- Was a double-digit scorer for the Mocs six times this season.
- Helped the Mocs secure the 2024 SoCon regular season and SoCon Tournament titles after UTC finished the season with a record of 28-5.
2022-23 Sophomore
- CSC Academic All-District Team
- Appeared in all 33 of the team’s games, including making 30 starts for the Mocs.
- Marks her second consecutive season with 30 starts.
- Averaged 32.6 minutes per game.
- Scored a total of 187 points on the year, averaging 5.7 a game.
- Led the Mocs in three point percentage (37.7).
- Ranked second on the team in total assists (63) and total steals (39).
- Finished the year with the third-best field goal percentage on the team, shooting 47.4 percent.
- Scored in the double digits a total of four times on the year, including a season-high 14 against Marshall.
- Recorded with multiple assists 19 times on the year, with four of those games sitting at 4+ assists.
- Tallied a career-high six steals in a single game twice in both of the team’s games against Western Carolina.
- Finished with multiple steals nine times on the year, averaging 1.2 per game.
- Helped the Mocs claim their 19th Southern Conference Tournament title and 16th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
2021-22 Freshman
- Started all 30 games.
- Moved from point to small forward.
- Fifth on the team in scoring with 6.5 ppg; 29th in the SoCon.
- Led the Mocs in assists with 86; fourth in the SoCon.
- Had a season-high seven assists against UNC Asheville and vs. Furman in SoCon Tournament.
- Posted a 1.3 assist-turnover ratio.
- Third on the team in steals (33); 12th in the SoCon.
- Career-best four steals at UNC Greensboro.
- Scored a season-high 15 points against Samford.
- Averaged 4.4 rebounds per game.
- Recorded a career-best nine rebounds against Mercer and Wofford.
- Scored in double figures seven times.
- Shot 41.6% (82-197) for the season.
2020-21 Freshman (COVID Season)
- Started all 24 games for the Mocs as a freshman
- Scored a career-high 16 points in the Mocs win over Georgia Southern
- Scored in double figures three times
- Averaged 5.5 points per game and ranked fifth on the team in scoring
- Shot 79.2 percent from the free throw line and was third on the team in 3-pointers made
- Aveaged 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists ans 1.0 steals per game
- Dished out a career-high eight assists against Georgia Southern and had a career-high three steals against Wofford.
High School
Attended Flensborg High School and played for Olof Helga Palsdottir ... received an Educational Achievement Award in her first year ... played soccer and at the age of eight was named the Player of the Year ... won the Icleandic championship five times from 2008 through 2014.
Helped her team to the 2018 Icelandic title and the 2017 Icelandic Cup title ... as a member of Haukar, she was named the Defender of the Year and the league’s Most Promising Player and Most Improved ... scored a career-high 36 points and 12 steals against Ármann and had 14 rebounds and four blocked shots in her team’s contest against Keflavik while dishing out a career-best 11 assists against Valur.
National Team
Played for the U15, U16, U18 and Senior National Teams for her home country and in the 2018-19 season averaged 7.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game ... received an invitation to practice with the Icelandic National Team in the summer of 2021.
Personal
Sigrún Björg Ólafsdóttir ... born June 19, 2001 in Reykjavik ...daughter of Gedur Gudjonsdottir and Ólafur Rafnsson ... older sister Auður Íris Ólafsdóttir and brother Sigurdur Edvard Olafsson. Her father is the former president of FIBA Europe. Her sister was a member of the Icelandic National Team.
