Anne Jay has been with the University since 1993 with her entire tenure in the Athletics Department.  In her current role, she provides administrative support to softball and wrestling, along with academic support services, while also serving as Human Relations liaison with athletics personnel.

The first 11 years, she provided administrative support for the football program assisting head coaches Tommy West, Buddy Green, Donnie Kirkpatrick and Rodney Allison.  She also worked with the soccer, track/cross country and tennis programs.  In 2003, she became administrative assistant to Senior Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator Laura Herron while transition to her current responsibilities.

The Nashville, Tenn., native graduated from Overton High School and attended Lipscomb University.  She is currently involved as an advisor for the local and state Junior Chamber of Commerce organization.  During her tenure as an active member, she served as local chapter president, district director over the Nashville area chapters, children’s program director for the 1979 national convention held in Nashville and was assistant to the chairperson for the 2000 national Jaycee convention which was held in Chattanooga.

The former Anne Evans was married to the late Josh Jay for 27 years, together for 34, and has a step-daughter, Dana, and grandson, Joshua.  She retired from working part-time as a recruiter at Blood Assurance after 15 years of service.
