Academic all-conferenceJulia Kaset joined the Mocs in 2023 and is in her second season as a graduate assistant.
She spent three seasons with Lee University at midfield and concluded her collegiate career at Cumberland University in 2021.
At Cumberland, she started all 20 games and assisted on three goals as a midfielder. Kaset was named to the Mid-South Conference All-Academic Team. She was also named to the Mid-South Conference Champions of Character Team. She was nominated by her coach based on leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
The Phoenix ranked as high as 14th in the NAIA, finishing at No. 16, and earned an at-large bid to the postseason tournament.
At Lee University, Kaset played three seasons for the Flames. She was named to the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll all three years.
She scored four goals from her midfield position and assisted on four more.
In 2018, Lee advanced to the Division II NCAA Tournament and claimed the South Region Championship to advance to the Final Four. In 2019, the Flames advanced to the GSC Tournament final. The 2020 season moved to the spring of 2021 and saw Lee in the GSC Championship game again.
