chattanooga MOCS

Emily Hangstefer is entering her third season as an assistant coach with the Mocs.  She was a four-year letter winner (2009-12) at UTC and won over 50 singles matches in her collegiate career.   
 
Hangstefer was a member of the Southern Conference All-Freshman team in 2009 and was in the Mocs lineup all four years of her career. 
 
Since graduating with a degree in Business in 2012, she has competed in a number of international events for deaf athletes.  She is a two-time USA Deaf Sportswoman of the Year in 2013 and 2014 and has won two gold medals at the Deaflympics for Team USA.
