- Parents are Troy Sr., and Katie Ringe-Briggs…two sisters, Sharnell and Zhanae.
- Mom Katie played lacrosse at Trinity.
- Plans to major in Psychology.
- Also received offers from UNLV and Austin Peay.

Coach Rusty Wright on Briggs:
"Tennessee kid. Same kind we've been getting the last couple of years, long and athletic. Played at a really good high school here (Lipscomb Acad.) and excited about having him. I think he's got a big upside."
