Cody Armstrong

Cody Armstrong enters his third year at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga working with the men’s wrestling and men’s golf programs. In addition to his sport coverage responsibilities, Cody serves as the Safe Sport liaison and drug testing coordinator for the Chattanooga Mocs.  
 
Cody is Graston Technique certified for instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, a QPR Trained Layperson and a KAATSU certified Blood Flow Restriction Specialist.  Before coming to Chattanooga, Cody was an intern athletic trainer at Washington State University where he worked with the Cougars men’s baseball team and the men’s and women’s golf teams.
 
Armstrong earned his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Washington State University. He then went on to become a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Eastern Michigan University working with the Eagles men’s baseball and men’s wrestling teams, while completing his Masters of Science in Sport Management.
 
Cody is from Bellingham, WA and currently resides in Chattanooga, TN. In his free time, Cody enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and running.
