- Opened season with three first period tech fall wins with a total 5:46 of mat time...nine bonus points scored...narrow 4-2 decision loss to #19 Brendan McCrone (Ohio St) with a deep shot for takedown thwarted by final buzzer.
- 4.0 in the spring...Dean's List and A.D. Honor Roll.

2024-25 (Second)
- 8-19 Overall | 3-13 Dual | 3-5 SoCon | 0-6 vs. Ranked Opp. | Dual Scoring: 14-54.
- Redshirt freshman took over for NCAA Qualifier Brayden Palmer at 125 starting all but one dual.
- 1st dual win this season came as a tech fall over VMI followed by a major at Presbyterian.
- Continued trend of dominating wins with his six career dual wins all coming with bonus points scored (2 pins/3 TF/1 MD).
- 4.0 student...Dean's List & A.D. Honor Roll.

- Maintained redshirt status.

- 4-time All-State and 3-time State Champion.
- South Carolina Wrestler of the Year in the 2022-23 season.

- Ty is the son of Tyler and Casey Tice.
- Has younger twin sisters, Karcyn and Kaycen and all three share a birthday.
- Majoring in Exercise and Health Science.
