- Dual +/-: +7 (24-17)...six bonus points scored in duals.
- Got a fall for his 1st career dual win (Huntingdon)...scored it in 1:39, 3rd fastest of the nine on that day.

2024-25 (Second)
- 0-6 Overall | 0-2 Dual | 0-1 SoCon
- Redshirt frosh made his first career dual start losing an agonizing 4-1 decision (SV-1) against Gardner-Webb.
- 4.0 student...Dean's List & A.D. Honor Roll.

2023-24 (First)
- Redshirted but saw some tournament action.
- Went 3-6 in those events...16-0 tech fall win in his first collegiate match over Ky-El Ali of Morgan State.
- All three wins collected bonus points with two techs and a major.
- Dean's List & A.D. Honor Roll.
 
Prior to Chattanooga
- Wrestled to a 52-6 record under his father, Coach Jorge Otero.
- State runner-up as a junior before claiming the title his senior year.
- National High School Coaches Association All-American during the 2022-23 season.
- Graduated with Honors and a 3.5 GPA.
 
Personal
- Full name is Jorge Yuta Otero…son of Jorge and Maki.
- Has a younger sibling, Hayato, and an older sister, Sofia.
- Father Jorge & Uncle Daniel wrestled at UTC in the ‘90s.
- Majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy
