Melissa came back to her alma mater in July 2001 working first in the Chancellor’s office. In September 2003, she joined the athletics department and serves as administrative assistant for athletics administration as well as several sports.
In addition to her work with the administration, Melissa also works with men’s and women's golf and footbll. She also aids with bookkeeping and purchasing practices.
Prior to UTC, Melissa was pharmacy over-the-counter manager at Wal-Mart in Chattanooga. She worked 11 years for the well-known chain. During her collegiate studies, she worked as an intern with Girls INC providing office support and event assistance.
Cate earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Management from UTC in December 1989. A Chattanooga native, she graduated from Tyner High School.
