TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 75-63 home Southern Conference contest to visiting Western Carolina tonight.  The Mocs are 6-9 overall and 0-2 in league play while the Catamounts improved to 6-8 on the year and 2-0 in SoCon action.

- Mocs trailed by 20 (61-41) – with 8:43 left to play following a Maurice Smith layup … Mocs cut that lead to seven (67-60) with 1:05 left on a Rodney Chatman three. 

- UTC's eight steals were its second-most this season (9 vs. Charlotte on Dec. 10).

- Mocs' four blocks were their second-most this season (5 at Marshall on Dec. 5).

- WCU outrebounded the Mocs 43-24 … second-largest rebound deficit of the season (-25 at UAb on Nov. 13) … fifth game in a row losing the rebound battle.

- Catamounts turned 17 offensive boards into 21 second-chance points … Mocs only had five points on five offensive boards.  

- UTC was 9/30 (.300) from 3-pt. range … 14-20 (.700) from inside the arc … fourth game in a row with more 3-pt. FGAs that shot taken from inside the arc.

- This was the 90th meeting in the series with Western Carolina … Mocs are 65-25 all time … 38-4 in McKenzie Arena … first time the Catamounts have won in Chattanooga since 2007.

- Mocs were outscored 44-28 in the paint … UTC has given up 40.8 ppg in the paint the last five outings. 

- UTC jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the game, but WCU went on a 19-1 run to take control … took a 42-28 advantage into the locker room at halftime.

- 16 points with a game-high six assists.
- Shot 7-11 from the field and 2-5 from 3-pt. range.
- 10th game in double-figures this season … 14th of his career.
- Fifth game with 5+ assists … seventh of his career.

Nat Dixon – So.-G
- 11 points on 4-8 shooting, 3-7 from 3-pt. range.
- Fifth-straight in double figures … 13th this season.

Makinde London – Jr.-F
- Team-high 22 points.
- Shot 9-16 from the field, 2-8 from 3-pt. range and 2-5 from the FT line.
- Fifth game with 20+ points this season.
- Tied a career-high with two blocks.
- Added three assists and two steals. 
- Tied for game-high with eight boards.
