TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored an 85-82 win over The Citadel tonight.  UTC improved to 9-17 overall and 3-10 in SoCon action.  The Bulldogs moved to 9-15 and 4-9 in league play.

- The Citadel came into the game with wins in four of its last five outings.

- 81^st meeting … 74^th time in the SoCon regular season … Mocs lead series 59-15.

- UTC shot a season-high 56.9% (29-51) from the floor … best against a DI opponent since 58.8% (30-51) at Kennesaw State in an 88-71 win on Nov. 26, 2016 … best in a SoCon game since 58.3% (28-48) against Wofford in a 79-63 win on Feb. 4, 2016. 

- The Citadel hit 25-30 (83.3%) FTs in the game … most makes and attempts against UTC this season.

- The Citadel was 9-34 (26.5%) from 3-pt. range … second-most threes taken against the Mocs this season (38 vs. UNCG on 1/29) … just the sixth time this season The Citadel made less than 10 triples … entered tonight ranked third nationally in 3pt made per game (11.8).

- UTC led for all by 1:32 of the game. 

- Mocs led by 13 (56-43) with 13:40 left to play, before The Citadel cut the lead to one on two occasions late in the game … Bulldogs never took the lead in the second half. 

- Mocs won the battle on the boards 33-29, but only managed five offensive rebounds … UC is 8-4 when outrebounding its opponent.

- Shot 5-9 from the field, 1-5 from three and 3-3 from the FT line.
- Tied for most blocks by a Moc this season … second time he has had three … tied career-high.
- 19 game in double-figures this season.
- 12^th time with 5+ assists this season.

Makale Foreman – So.-G
- Game-high 22 points on 8-12 shooting, 6-10 from three.
- Added four boards and two steals in 40 minutes.
- Second 20-point contest of the year … both against The Citadel … 52 in the two games … shot 70.4% (19-27) from the field and 60.0% (12-20) from 3-pt. range.

- 16 points in 24 minutes off the bench.
- Fouled out with 4:33 left to play.
- Fouled out for the fifth time this season.
- Tied a career-high with four assists.
- Added four boards.

- Added four boards in 24 minutes.
