- Chattanooga is now 8-10 on the season and 4-3 in the SoCon with an 82-75 win over Western Carolina tonight...with the win the Mocs pull into a virtual tie for first place with the Catamounts in the North Division...Western Carolina moves to 3-2 in league play and 8-7 overall.
- Tonight's win is the 600th since Chattanooga's move to DI in 1977-78. The record over that time is 600-350 (.632).
- Chattanooga is now 47-15 against Western Carolina, 26-2 at home.
- The Mocs have won four straight for the first time this season. The last four-game winning streak was last season from (2/20-3/3) with four wins leading into the SoCon Tournament.
- UTC is now 321-165 in Southern Conference games.
- The Mocs won despite being outrebounded (49-42) for the second straight game...UTC is now 2-8 on the year when out-rebounded.
- The Mocs are off until Thursday, Jan. 22, at UNC Greensboro for the first of a two-game road set followed by a Saturday matchup at Elon. Game time at UNCG is scheduled for 7 p.m.

- Has at least one 3-pt. FG in 40 straight games...ties for the third longest active streak in the NCAA with Chris Harris from Navy.

- 81 three-pointers made this season is sixth all-time for a season at UTC...one below Toot Young's 82 in 2001-02 and five short of LaVert Threats' 1991-92 total of 86...Mays holds the season record with 118 in 2007.
- 803 career points leaves him 197 points shy of joining teammate Nicchaeus Doaks in the 1,000 point club. He would become the 17th member since Chattanooga's move to DI in 1977-78.
