- UTC scored 100+ points for the third time this season...it was the first time the Mocs had topped the century mark in SoCon action since a 109-79 win against Western Carolina on Jan. 24, 2004, in the McKenzie Arena.

- UTC is now 323-167 in Southern Conference regular-season games.

- In case you were wondering why all of the coaches were wearing sneakers with their suits tonight, this weekend is the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend.  A collaborative initiative of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society, participating NABC-member college men's basketball coaches, including Coach John Shulman and our Chattanooga staff, will wear sneakers instead of dress shoes with their usual game attire.  To learn more, visit cancer.org/coaches or call 1-800-ACS-2345.

- The Mocs won despite Georgia Southern shooting a season-high 53.6% (15-28) from behind the 3-pt. line.

- Until the final two minutes, tonight's game was a back and forth affair that had seven ties and 18 lead changes.

- The Mocs trailed at the half 46-47...it was just their third win in 11 games when trailing at the half this season.
