Team
- Chattanooga is 5-6 on the season, 0-1 in the Southern Conference after a hard-gought 73-62 loss at Murray State of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Saturday afternoon at the Regional Sports Events Center. The Racers are 9-2 thus far and winners of nine of the last 10.
- The Racers now lead the series 5-2. The Mocs are 0-4 in games played at Murray State.
- UTC is 615-363 as a DI program (33rd season), 162-215 on the road.

- Entering tonight's game, the Mocs shoot 48.2 percent from the field in wins and 36.6 percent in losses. Today they shot 37.7 percent. Chattanooga hit 50 percent (13-26) of its first half offerings, but managed just 28.6 percent (10-35) in the second frame. Murray State shot 51.9 percent (27-52) for the game and 60 percent (15-25) in the second half.

Harvey is out until mid-to-late January with a wrist injury suffered at Jacksonville State (12/1). UTC has lost 33 man-game missed on the season through eight games. The Racer played at full strength.
