“Even ugly wins are beautiful wins. We did not have our A-game and Koivisto really shot it well.  We survived and found a way to win. I think we are fatigued to tell you the truth...that is five games in ten days and I think we are due for the time we get off.”

On taking as many free throws as UNCG did field goals.

“That's good. That is what I like doing. We want to get to the line and if you throw the ball inside and drive the ball inside you better go to the foul line.  If you shoot threes all night long you are not going to go to the foul line. I am not going to apologize for going to the line 49 times.  I wanted to go 59 times. We are going to jam that ball inside and make the officials make the call or not. We are going to go inside and play power basketball.”

“That was a good example.  That is what we are trying to do now. That is our identity, throwing the ball inside playing inside-out. We knew they were young inside.  Khalil and I know how it goes down there. They were playing physical and kept bringing in new bodies, but eventually just ran out of people.”

“Early on, they were in foul trouble and we got a chance to get to the line.  We made 32 of them. Throughout the course of the game, they got in foul trouble so we attacked.  That was a huge difference in the game. They made shots but if we are going to the free throw line that many times it makes a difference.”
