- Chattanooga is now 11-12 on the season and 7-5 in the SoCon with an 84-77 win in the Benjamin Johnson Arena tonight... Wofford moves to 9-11 overall, 5-6 in league play.
- Chattanooga is now 15-8 against Wofford, 5-6 in Spartanburg.
- Chattanooga remains tied for first in the North Division with Western Carolina who claimed a 70-68 win at home over College of Charleston.
- Tonight's game was the Mocs third on SportSouth this season, the eighth televised overall... the Feb. 21 home game against Samford is also a SportSouth broadcast... the Mocs are 2-1 on the network in 2008-09.
- UTC is now 324-167 in Southern Conference regular-season games.
- The Mocs first field goal did not come until the 15:50 mark in the first half on a Kevin Goffney three-pointer.
- UTC shot an amazing 73.7% (14-19) in the second half outscoring Wofford 47-33... the Mocs were also clutch from the FT line hitting 17-21 (81.0%) for the half, 93.8% (15-16) in the final 10 minutes.
- Chattanooga's three leading scorers (Stephen McDowell, Nicchaeus Doaks and Kevin Goffney) combined for just six first-half points. The trio had 26 in the second led by McDowell with 12.
- Tonight was the first win for the Mocs this season when trailing with five minutes to play (1-11).
- Chattanooga is now 3-3 on the road in SoCon play.
- The Mocs continue on the road for the second of its three games in five days stretch Saturday at Furman (4 p.m.)... Chattanooga makes its first SoCon trip to Birmingham to square off with Samford on Monday, Feb. 9, at 8:30 p.m. (EST) to complete the swing.

Senior Stephen McDowell
- 2nd leading scorer in the conference at 19.6 ppg entering tonight's game... scored 15 points on 4-5 shooting from the field, 3-3 from 3-pt range and 4-4 on FTs.
- 44 career double-figure scoring games.
- 18 games with three or more three-pointers made, nine with five or more.
- 204 career 3-pt. FGs, ranking second in school history...Keddric Mays (2006-07) has the record with 209.
- 96 three-pointers made this season is fourth all-time for a season at UTC...Mays holds the season record with 118 in 2007 and he is in third place with 91 in 2006. McDowell's junior season is second with 108.
- 889 career points leaves him 111 points shy of joining teammate Nicchaeus Doaks in the 1,000 point club. He would become the 17th member since Chattanooga's move to DI in 1977-78.

- Now has 1,237 points in his career, 88 behind Lance Fulse (1985-88) in fourth place on the UTC scoring charts.

Senior Keyron Sheard

Junior Ty Patterson
- Career high 23 points on 7-10 shooting, 4-6 3-pt and 5-5 FT... scored the 23 points in 22 minutes of floor time.
