TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs improved to 2-1 (0-1 SoCon) on the season with a 29-13 win at Presbyterian College.
- UTC is 2-1 on the season for the first time since the 2005 campaign when UTC finished 6-5 overall
- The Mocs snapped a 17-game losing streak against Division I opponents...their previous win against an FCS opponent was 39-21 against Western Carolina on Oct. 13, 2007.
- Chattanooga snapped a nine-game road losing streak...the last road win was 39-21 at Georgia Southern on Sept. 22, 2007.
- UTC recorded its first non-conference road win since defeating Tennessee Tech 31-7 on Aug. 31, 2006.
- After allowing 148 yards of total offense and 10 points in the first half, UTC's defense only gave up 107 yards and three points in the second half.
- The Mocs outrushed PC 193 to 61 on the game...UTC only allowed eight yards on the ground in the second half.
INDIVIDUAL
Freshman Will Brooks
- True freshman got his first career start at fullback
- Had one return for nine yards on special teams
Senior Craig Camay
- Hit a career-long 52-yard FG in the first quarter
- 52-yarder is tied for the second longest in school history
- First 50+ yard FG since Scott Kielbock's school record 53-yarder against Samford in 1998
- Sixth FG of 50+ yards since 1976
- Missed from 39 yards...came into the game 8-9 inside the 40 on his career
- 2-4 on PATs...snapped a streak of 25 consecutive...41-45 for his career
Sophomore B.J. Coleman
- 16-29 for 224 yards and two TDs
- Third straight game with 200 passing yards...first Mocs to throw for 200+ in three consecutive games since Cedric Sevens in 2004.
Freshman Ryan Consiglio
- Career-high 12 tackles
- Had his first career interception on the Blue Hose' first offensive play
- Also recorded first career sack
Senior Blue Cooper
- First catch of the game was his 22nd of the season...matching his total receptions from last year
- Finished with four catches for 45 yards
- First game of the season without 100 yards receiving
- Came into the game No. 2 in the nation with 21 receptions
Freshman Terrance Davis
- Caught three passes for 76 yards and his first career TD
Senior Bryan Fitzgerald
- Career-highs 181 yards and two TDs
- 22 carries was one shy of his career mark- First Moc to top 100 yards rushing since the last game of 2007 when he and Erroll Wynn accomplished the feat in the same game
Sophomore Mike Hammons
- Four punts for a 41.8-yard average.
- Tied his career-long with a 51-yarder
- Did not allow a return
Junior Garrett Hughes
- Caught a 41-yard pass in the first half for his only reception of the game
- Has two catches for 114 yards and one TD on the year...57.0 yards-per-catch average
Senior Joseph Thornton
- Finished with seven tackles and his first interception of the season
- Fifth career interception but the first since his sophomore season
Freshman Joshua Williams
- True freshman got his first career start at right end
- Had two sacks and a TFL in the game
- Now has three sacks on the season
