- Chattanooga is now 11-8 on the year and 3-3 in the SoCon after a 62-49 loss at UNC Greensboro...UNCG is 4-15, 3-5 in SoCon play.
- Chattanooga holds a 16-10 series advantage...The Mocs are 7-5 in Greensboro and have won three of the last four in the series. Chattanooga won the first meeting (1/11/10) a week ago Monday in Chattanooga 58-45. The 45 points were a school record low for the Spartans in a Division I conference game (Big South/SoCon).
- The Greensboro Coliseum is the site of the Mocs' eight Southern Conference tournament championship in 1997...The 1997 season is the year the Mocs made it to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16...The Mocs have won two tournament titles since sharing the league record for tournament championships with 10 along with West Virginia and Davidson.
- UTC is 621-365 as a DI program (33rd season)...The Mocs are 332-175 in SoCon games.
- This is the second game of three in five days this week, all on the road...Chattanooga head to Elon on Saturday (7 p.m.) and Wofford on Monday (7 p.m.)...The Wofford game is a doubleheader with the Lady Mocs.
- It was the Mocs first loss when leading at halftime (8-1)...They led at the break 29-22.
- Chattanooga shot 46.2% (12-26) in the first half and 25.7% (9-35) in the second including a paltry 15.4% (2-13) from beyond the arc.
- Both teams held 16-point leads in the game...Chattanooga (24-8) came at 9:17 in the first half, while UNCG's was at 1:22 of the second (60-44).
- The Mocs have been led in rebounding by a guard/wing in six straight games as Ty Patterson tied for team-high honors with seven...Post players Jeremy Saffore and Sam Watson each had seven as well...Both teams had 39 boards on the night although the Mocs had a nine-board advantage, 25-16, at the break.
- Chattanooga had 23 turnovers on the night which UNCG converted into 22 points...15 were unforced errors as the Spartans collected eight steals.
- The Mocs finally had all their scholarship players healthy for the first time this season...Troy Cage is back after Dec. 3 surgery putting a rod in his leg for support of stress fractures which have kept him out of workouts and practices since arriving at Chattanooga over the summer...UTC has lost 47 man-games on the season through 18 games. Cage did not see action today as he works his way back from the injury.

- 21 points on 8-18 shooting, 4-10 from 3-pt. range and 1-2 from the FT line.
- Fourth 20-point effort of the season which is a team best.
- Added four boards..averaging 5.7 rpg in last six games.
