- Chattanooga is now 11-10 on the year and 3-5 in the SoCon North Division, falling 78-63 at Wofford...The Terriers move to 14-8, 6-3 in the SoCon South Division.
- The Mocs now lead the series 15-9 with a 5-7 record in Spartanburg...The Mocs are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings...This is the only scheduled game between the two schools this season.
- UTC is 621-367 as a DI program (33rd season)...The Mocs are 332-177 in SoCon games.
- Tonight's game wraps up a three-game-n-five-day road trip...It is part of five games in 10 as the Mocs return home to host Western Carolina (Thur.) and Appalachian State (Sat.).
- Tonight was a doubleheader with the Lady Mocs in town as well...The Lady Mocs won 78-72 led by Jenaya Wade-Fray with 19 points.
- Chattanooga headman John Shulman has a homecoming of sorts whenever the Mocs visit Wofford...Shulman spent two different stints as an assistant coach (1989-90, 1996-98) under current Wofford athletics director Richard Johnson.
- The Mocs used their 11th different starting lineup of the season in game No. 21. The starters: Keegan Bell (1), Ricky Taylor (2), Ty Patterson (3), Ridge McKeither (4) and DeAntre Jefferson (5).

- The Mocs finally have all their scholarship players healthy for the first time this season...Troy Cage is back after Dec. 3 surgery putting a rod in his leg for support of stress fractures which have kept him out of workouts and practices since arriving at Chattanooga over the summer...UTC has lost 47 man-games on the season through 18 games. Cage played the final three minutes tonight.

Senior Ty Patterson
- From nearby Anderson, S.C., which is less than 30 minutes away.
- 15 points on 4-8 FG, 3-5 3pt and 4-6 FT...Also tied for team-high honors with five boards.
Junior Jeremy Saffore
- Had 11 points on a perfect 5-5 from the floor and 1-1 from the charity stripe.
- Also grabbed four rebounds and had a block in 22 minutes off the bench.
Sophomore Ricky Taylor
- 13 points shooting 3-8 FG, 1-5 3pt.and 6-6 FT...Dished out three assists.
- Has scored in double-digits in six straight games.
Junior Troy Cage
- Had surgery to put a rod in his leg on Dec. 3 to alleviate stress fractures...Was thought to be out for the season but his rehab has him back on the court...Played three minutes tonight in his first action of the season...First full practices at UTC have occurred in the last week.
