- The Mocs fell 86-74 at SoCon South Division leader College of Charleston tonight...UTC is now 13-11 on the year and 5-6 in the SoCon North Division...the Cougars move to 15-8, 10-2 in the South.

- Charleston leads the series 14-10 with a decisive 9-1 advantage at home...Tonight was the Mocs' first visit to the Carolina First Arena which opened last season...Charleston has won four of the last five meetings...Chattanooga is 3-7 in the last 10 meetings.

- UTC is 623-368 as a DI program (33rd season)...The Mocs are 334-178 in SoCon games.

- Chattanooga wore its alternate black uniforms for the first time this season.

- The Mocs remain in Charleston for a Saturday evening matchup with The Citadel (7:05 p.m.).

- Chattanooga is 4-10 when trailing at the half...CofC led 43-24 at the break.

- The Mocs are 10-2 when scoring 70 or more points...Chattanooga is 5-8 when opponents score more than 70 points.

- Chattanooga is 1-10 when trailing with five minutes to play.

- The Mocs lost their first game (8-1) when committing less than 15 turnovers...UTC had 13 turnovers tonight.

- The Mocs' largest lead overcome is 10, twice...Both in SoCon play in the first half against UNC Greensboro (2:59) and Western Carolina (11:39)...Chattanooga trailed by as many as 29 before closing to within 10 twice in the second half.

- Chattanooga dominated scoring inside with 44 points in the paint to 24 for the Cougars...30 of those points came in the second half.

- Charleston shot 44 threes, a season high by an opponent...It hit 17 which is one shy of the high of 18 made by Missouri (11/24/09).

- The Mocs out-scored the Cougars 13-2 in fast break points.

Sophomore Ricky Taylor
- Scored 12 points on 4-11 FG, 2-6 3pt and 2-2 FT.
- Nine straight games with 11 or more points.

Junior DeAntre Jefferson

- Led the team with 13 points (6-8 FG) and seven rebounds.
- It's the fourth time he has led the Mocs in either category this season.

Junior Ridge McKeither
- 10 points and five rebounds hitting 4-6 from the field.
- Has 66 points (13.2 ppg) and 38 rebounds (7.6 rpg) in the last five games...scored just 42 points and grabbed 31 boards in the previous eight games
- Shot 26-38 (68.4%) from the field in the last four games (38.7%/12-31 in previous 8).

Senior Ty Patterson
- 11 points, all in second half.
- Hit 4-11 FG and 3-9 3pt for the game, 4-6 FG and 3-5 3pt in second half.

Sophomore Dante Harvey
- Career high six rebounds in 12 minutes off bench.
