- Chattanooga roared past Georgia Southern 82-62 in the final game of the Southern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament First Round Friday night in the Bojangles Coliseum...UTC is now 15-17, while Georgia Southern is 9-23.

- The Mocs are 52-22 all-time in the Southern Conference Tournament, 3-0 in the First Round...5-0 against Georgia Southern in tourney play.

- UTC is 625-373 as a DI program (33rd season).

- Chattanooga is 10-3 in the tournament under John Shulman with two championships in five years.

- The Mocs have started 12 different players at least once this season...There have been 12 different lineups as well...Tonight's lineup is 3-3 (Keegan Bell, Ricky Taylor, Ty Patterson, Ridge McKeither and Jeremy Saffore).

- Chattanooga is 28-15 all-time against Georgia Southern, 5-0 on a neutral floor.

- The Mocs are 12-5 when scoring 70 or more...UTC is 9-4 when holding opponents under 70 points.

- Chattanooga is 10-2 when leading at the half.

- The Mocs are 14-0 when leading with five minutes to play in the game.

- Georgia Southern head coach Charlton "C.Y." Young was the associate head coach on John Shulman's first staff in 2004-05 helping lead the Mocs to their ninth SoCon Tournament Championship.

- Chattanooga shot an amazing 85.7 percent in the second half making 18 of 21 attempts including 3-5 from 3-pt range...For the game the Mocs shot a season-best 66.7 percent (34-51)...The last time UTC shot better than 60 percent from the field was the Nov. 23, 2007 win in Anaheim over UC Irvine shooting 60.4 percent (29-48).

- The Mocs' 28-point lead (63-35) with 12:04 in the second half is their largest against a Division I opponent this season.

- Chattanooga received a combined 29 points and 21 rebounds in 37 minutes from their primary fours (Ridge McKeither, Chris Early) tonight.

- The Mocs had 54 points in the paint tonight to just 26 for the Eagles...The 54 points in the paint is a season high.

- Chattanooga held a 49-20 advantage on the glass...The 20 rebounds is the fewest the Mocs have allowed an opponent in 2009-10...The 29-rebound advantage is the most against a DI opponent this season...GSU had more offensive rebounds (11) than defensive (9).

- UTC limited Georgia Southern to 34.4 percent shooting (22-64) from the field and 28.0 percent (7-25) from three-point range.

Junior Ridge McKeither
- Game-high 19 points shooting 9-11 from the field, 1-2 from FT.
- Scored the 19 points in just 18 minutes and grabbed nine rebounds.
- Led the Mocs in scoring for the third time this season.
- 12th double-digit scoring game.

Sophomore Chris Early
- 10 points and a career high 12 rebounds in 19 minutes.
- Made 5-6 from the field and had almost as many defensive rebounds (8) as the Eagles team (9).
- Fourth time in his career that he has led the Mocs in rebounding.

Freshman Josh Odem
- 13 points shooting 3-7 FG, 2-4 3pt and 5-6 FT.
