- Today's attendance of 15,235 is the second largest at Finley Stadium for a Mocs football game.
- Chattanooga marched 86 yards in the final minutes of the game, scoring on a 3-yard TD run by junior B.J. Coleman to pull the score to 42-41. The Mocs went for two on the PAT but Coleman's pass was broken up.
- The Mocs drop their sixth-straight game to ASU...their last win as a 59-56 contest in Finley Stadium on Oct. 30, 2004...UTC falls to 10-24 overall and 7-10 at home against the Mountaineers.
- Chattanooga is now 59-43-1 (.578) in all-time season-opening games...Mocs are 70-30-3 (.694) in openers. UTC is 8-5 (.615) in home-openers at Finley Stadium.

Junior B.J. Coleman
- 23-37 passing for 340 yards and three touchdowns.
- Now has nine career 200-yard passing games...tied with Cedric Stevens (2004) and Kenyon Earl (1991-94) for No. 4 on the Mocs' all-time list in that category.
- Second-highest total passing yards in his career (356 vs. The Citadel - 11/14/09)
- One of just three Mocs - Chris Sanders (12 - 1999-00) & (2 - Cedric Stevens (2004) - to have more than one 300-yard game in his career.
- Has 20 career TD passes. He moves into a tied for 8th all time at UTC with Cedric Stevens (2004). He needs two more to pass Antonio Miller (2004-07) and move into 6th place.
- Also ran for two TDs.

- Team-high 6 receptions for 78 yards and 1 TD.
- 2nd career TD reception.
