TEAM
- Chattanooga scored a 111-110 double-overtime win over UNC Greensboro...the Mocs improve to 12-10 overall...UTC is 8-2 in league play, 5-0 at home and 3-2 on the road. Chattanooga is 6-0 against North Division opponents, 3-2 vs. the South...UNCG is 3-16, 3-6 in the SoCon North Division.

- The 221 combined points most in a game in school history...topped the previous high of 218 set in a 111-107 double-overtime loss to Marshall on March 4, 1984.    

- The Mocs 111 points are tied for the eighth most in school history...most since scoring 113 against Toccoa Falls on Nov. 20, 2004...second-most against a Division I opponent (114 vs. Southern on Dec. 29, 1992). 

- The 110 points allowed are the second-most in school history...trailing only the 111 given up in a 111-107 double-overtime loss to Marshall on March 4, 1984.  

- UNCG ran out to an 11- 2 lead, hitting four of their first six shots...they only managed 7-26 from the field the rest of the half.

- The Mocs twice led by 20 points in the second half...Chattanooga went up 59-39 with 14:57 left in the game...the Spartans went on a 31-9 run over the next 8:17 to take a 70-68 lead.

- UTC is now 23-23 all-time in overtime games...last one was an 86-85 double OT loss at Elon on Jan. 24, 2009. 

- Tonight was the 28th meeting between the two schools with UTC leads 18-10. The Mocs have won five of the last six meetings.

- Chattanooga is 637-385 (.624) since moving to Division I in 1977-78, 402-100 (.801) at home, 342-89 (.795) in McKenzie Arena. In its 34th SoCon season, the Mocs are 343-186 (.649), 208-56 (.789) at home, 181-47 (.794) in the Roundhouse.

- The Mocs led 40-29 at the half...UTC is 9-0 when leading at the half this season.

- Chattanooga is 2-10 when allowing more than 70 points...11-0 when holding opponents under 70.

- UTC outrebounded UNCG 41-35...the Mocs have won the battle of the boards in 14 of the last 16 games. That's after starting the season turning the trick just once in the first six.

- The last time the Mocs had two players score 20 points in the same game was a 78-73 win against Davidson on Feb. 22, 2010...Ricky Taylor (22) and Ty Patterson (20).

- UNCG was 17-43 from 3-pt. range...17 3-pt. FGs made is a Spartan school-record....UNCG was 13-26 from behind the arc after halftime. 

- Chattanooga went 36-53 from the FT line, tying a school record for attempts and make from the charity stripe...UTC made 36 at Georgia Southern on Jan. 23, 1993 and took 53 against Marshall on March 7, 1992.    

- The Mocs shot a season-high 59.3% (32-54) from the field...UTC was also a season-high 47.8% from 3-pt. range (11-23).

- Mocs trailed 109-102 with 1:59 left in the second OT...outscored UNCG 9-1 for the win.    

INDIVIDUAL
Junior Keegan Bell
- Career-high 24 points.
- Shot 8-13 from the field, 6-10 from 3-pt. range and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Six 3-pt. FGs tied a career-high. 
- 3-13 from deep in previous two games...32.0% for the year.
- 3-pointer from the top of the key with 0:07 left in regulation sent the game into overtime.
- Eight FGs is a career-high.
- Game-high eight assists...ninth game with 8+ assists.
- Played a career-high 48 minutes...one turnover. 
- Team-high three steals.

Junior Chris Early
- Second double-double of the year with 11 points and 11 boards.
- Shot 1-4 from the field, 0-1 from 3-pt. range and 9-12 from the FT line. 
- Career-highs in FTs made and attempted. 

Sophomore Dontay Hampton
- Off the bench for seven points...four big ones in OT.
- Most points since scoring seven at Austin Peay on Jan. 3, 2011.
- Shot 2-4 from the field, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 2-3 from the FT line.

Senior DeAntre Jefferson
- 10 points on 3-3 shooting, 4-7 from the FT line. 
- Career-high 28 minutes. 
- Added six boards.

Head Coach John Shulman
- 117th win at UTC - 117-100 (.539) - 7th year.
- 62nd SoCon regular season win at UTC - 62-54 (.534) - 7th year.

Junior Ricky Taylor
- Career-high 41 points.
- Most points by a SoCon player this season.
- Third most points in a game in school history...second most points by a Moc against a Division I opponent...other two were 50 from Oliver Morton against Pikeville on Jan. 24, 2001, and 42 from John Oliver at Georgia Southern on Jan. 21, 1995.
- Shot 12-18 from the field, 4-7 from 3-pt. range and 13-15 from the FT line.
- Most FGs by a Moc since Stephen McDowell had 12 at Davidson on December 13, 2008.
- Most FTs by a Moc since Nicchaeus Doaks had 13 against UNCG on Feb. 14, 2009.
- Steal and game-winning layup with 15 seconds left.
