Chattanooga at Elon
Rhodes Stadium (11,250) - Elon, N.C.
Saturday - Oct. 22, 2011

Chattanooga Head Coach Russ Huesman
On the play of freshman QB Terrell Robinson:
"We could not get a first down in the third quarter, you put the ball in his hands.  I love Terrell, but there were a couple of those runs that were wide open.  (Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield) and the fellas did a great job with him and the guys blocked for him.  He is doing a great job."

On the scoring drive in the fourth quarter:
"We had to get the momentum going.  If we had went three-and-out and punted there, I don't know if we could have hung on."

On the play of Elon:
"They were blocking it pretty decent.  They were getting four and five (yards) and then they started to throw and catch it pretty good.  We are trying to so some many different things to take Mellette out of the game.  He is a really good player.  He is a scary guy.  The quarterback did a good job of finding people.  We didn't tackle great in the third quarter, but somehow we survived.  Then Kadeem (Wise) had a big interception in the fourth quarter."

On getting this win and building momentum:
"We played good last week.  We played really well in the first half of this one and played pretty good in the fourth quarter of this one.  We are going to play good teams from here on out.  We prepared well for Elon.  We knew they had good players and they are well-coached.  Furman is going to be a tough one so they all are hard from here on out."

Sophomore Linebacker Wes Dothard
On his career-high 15 tackles:
"I didn't realize I had that many tackles.  I thought Consigs (Ryan Consiglio) had way more than I did.  He played an excellent game.

On the play in the third quarter:
"We started blitzing a good bit in the third quarter, so that left our corners out.  They had some success, but we stopped blitzing in the fourth quarter and that is when we got stops."

Sophomore Linebacker Gunner Miller
On the pick-6:
"I was fresh coming in.  They threw it right to me and I was able to take advantage of it.  I just showed blitz, popped out and I guess he didn't see me.  I just had to make a play."

Freshman Quarterback Terrell Robinson
On the play of the offense:
"The coaches put together a great game-plan.  We are just going out and executing the plays.  We know we have to win the game every week in order to be where we want to be."

On the TD pass to Joel Bradford:
"I think I had two like that.  I was fixing to run the ball, but Joel...I saw him turn up field and I just threw it up.  I know I can make that throw, but really I have great play-makers out here making plays.  Sloan (Allison) is making plays, Marlon (Anthony) made a great play.  All three of those TD passes were the receivers making plays for me, so I can't take all of the credit.  The offensive line is holding up and we are just getting together and growing as a team right now."

On passing for 140 yards and three TDs on 11-12 attempts in the first half:
"I had no clue.  I didn't know the stats. I still don't know the stats.  I am just going out every week and preparing.  Coaches are putting together a great game plan, telling us what we have to do.  We have the answers to the test every week.  We are just going out and executing.
