- The Mocs used a 27-0 run midway through the first half to break the game open ... leading 16-9 after a Hiwassee bucket from cody Carson at the 13:42 mark of the first half...UTC did not allow another basket until the Tigers' Joel bailey hit a three at the 2:11 mark.
- 15th 50-point win in Mocs's DI era...3rd this season, a school record...54-point margin of victory today ranks tied for 10th on that list.
- 11 of the 12 Mocs that played, scored at least one point...only starting PG Keegan Bell, who had a game-high eight assists in 22 minutes failed to score...Bell only took one shot in the game.
- UTC shot 31-56 (55.4%) from the floor, its second-best percentage of the season.
- Chattanooga was 10-18 (55.6%) from 3-pt. range, including 6-9 in the first half...it was a season-high for percentage...the 18 attempts were the second-fewest on the season (14 vs. Butler).
- The Mocs were 23-34 (67.6%) from the FT line...season-highs for attempts and makes.
- The 41 points allowed are the second fewest on the year (36 vs. Warren Wilson).
