TEAM
- The 23rd-ranked Mocs post a 38-17 win over No.  10 Jacksonville State at Finley Stadium tonight.

- First win over a top-10 team since UTC beat No. 6 Appalachian State 30-27 on Oct. 28, 2000. 

- UTC locked down on defense in the second half, holding Jacksonville State to just 17 yards on 23 plays. 

- The Mocs held JSU to 1/13 on third downs in the game. 

- Chattanooga snaps a four-game losing streak to the Gamecocks.  It is UTC's first win in the series since a 21-18 victory on Sept. 10, 2005.  The Mocs improve to 26-10 all-time vs. Jax State. 

- Tonight's attendance of 12,185 was the 7th largest crowd in Finley Stadium history.  It was also the 4th largest crowd in the Huesman Era.

- The Mocs actually trailed 14-7 after the opening quarter.  UTC is just 5-9 when trailing after the first period in the Huesman era. 

- Chattanooga outgained JSU 212-55 in rushing yards.  The Mocs are 8-1 when outrushing their opponent under Huesman.  Their only loss came last season at Jacksonville State. 

- The Mocs improve to 9-5 in home openers at Finley Stadium.  They are 71-30-1 all-time in home openers.

INDIVIDUAL
WR - Sloan Allison - SR
- Career-high three catches for 35 yards...35 yards tied a career-high.

RB - Chris Awuah - JR
- 170 all-purpose yards (77 rush, 57 catch, 36 return)...on shy of his career-high set at Nebraska.
- Game-high 77 yards on 17 carries with 2 TDs.
- 2nd career game with 2+ rushing TDs.

WR - Joel Bradford - SR
- Tied a career-high with 15 catches.
- Totaled 162 yards and on TD.
- 5th career 100-yard receiving game.
- 9th career TD.

QB - B.J. Coleman - SR
- 23-33 passing for 296 yards and two TDs.
- 17th career 200-yard passing game
- Career long 19-yard run in the first quarter.
- Finished with a career-high 40 yards.
- Ran for a 2-pt conversion.

LB - Wes Dothard - SO
- 30 INT return for a touchdown.
- Finished with a five tackles, forced fumble, PBU and QHU.
- First career INT. 

DL - Joshua Williams - JR
- 1.5 sacks...13.5 for his career...3rd all-time at UTC.
- Six tackles and one QBH.
