- Chattanooga loses 80-67 decision at LSU...UTC is now 2-7, while the Tigers remain undefeated at 6-0.

- Tonight was the first meeting between the two schools...Texas A&M is now the only SEC school the Mocs have yet to face...24-110 all-time against current SEC members.

- Head Coach John Shulman is 134-134 in his ninth season.

- Today is just the third road game of the season (at Kansas & Kennesaw State)...it's the last game away from McKenzie Arena until the January 2 trip to Georgia Tech.

- LSU out-rebounded UTC 46-39...just second time this season Chattanooga has been beaten on the boards (Kansas).

- The Mocs have nine straight games with 13 or more offensive rebounds to open the season, 10 in a row including last year's final game...last such streak that long was in 1997-98 with 13 (12/22-2/4).

- Z. Mason's 3pt at 11:30 cut LSU's lead to two, 55-53...11-0 run while UTC went 4:16 without a FG broke the game open for the Tigers.

- Tigers has 17-8 advantage in 2nd chance points...1st time Chattanooga has trailed in that stat.

- Chattanooga made nine of a season-high 24 three-point attempts (37.5%)...shot 16 of 43 (37.2%) from inside the arc.

- Team-high six boards with two assists, one block & one steal...eight blocks in last four games (2.0 bpg).

Sophomore Ronrico White
- Career-high 17 points on 6-12 FG, 3-5 3pt & 2-2 FT.
- FGM, FGA & 3ptM are all career bests.

Freshman Gee McGhee
- 10 points in his hometown...all three shots made from 3pt range (3-5).
- Season-high five assists.
- Fifth double-digit scoring night, fourth in five games.
